The foundations of the house date from the 13th/14th centuries (then two houses, the kitchen used to be a wine-cellar). It has been restored in 1991 in an original and charming style and continuously redecorated since.
It is located in the middle of the village, between a narrow alleyway and a small, tree-shaded patio- or courtyard-garden, a garden house with stone barbecue and one to two car-parking spaces behind, inside the stone walls of the garden, closed with a portal and covered with a pergola.
The thick stone-walls keep the house wonderfully cool during the hot summer days and make a good isolation during the cooler months. The floors are covered with tiles, terracotta and rustic wooden parquet. Wooden beams in living and bedrooms, stone-vaults in the kitchen and one living room. Antique furniture from the region and new, modern furniture, well adapted to each other and to the style of the house. Typical wooden window-shutters and thick curtains for a good sleep.
